This is a bit of a read, but worth it. Pretty good how the guy figure out to find the owner.

That's a great story. I found a camera at Yosemite last year, handed it in to the Ranger station at Toulomne. I hope the owner got his camera back, the ranger did'nt seem to bothered. I would hate to lose my kit, even the crappy shots tell a story.

It's a nice story - not many people would go to so much trouble - i doubt i would.

But i have my name and phone number written on my CF cards - I would hope if i lost my camera some one honest would pick it up, and i'd hate for them to have a hard time finding me!
