Yawn ... yet another A1GP thread. Lean over sideways seemed to be the order of the weekend. Must have been somethingto do with the wind and trying to stay out of the dust. FWIW here are mine ...

3 and 6 are the winners, I'm not a fan of the tilted shots

however they are nice and sharp and exposed perfectly!

Nice stuff Dave, proof that Conga line is not dead, it just needs to be done properly, as above.

It all in the eye of the beholder or the brief you are given. For the last one a front cover shot with as much of Team New Zealand in it as you can get was the brief. No idea if they will use it. I did get a bit carried away ..... Still as a magazine cover I can see it working

#1 and #3 all the way for me Dave - very good shots IMHO.

The exposure and / or PP on #1 is excellent. There's a lot of detail and dynamic range in that one. Did you do anything differently with it?

Good luck with your magazine front cover. I think the last one suits that brief well. You've got a lot of the Team NZ car in frame, while leaving enough room for titles, captions etc.

Cheers,

Simon.

Cheers Simon - thanks for noticing,

The mini shot was lit from the left hand (as you look at it) rear 3/4, so there is a lot of recovery, pushed the blacks and then added light fill. Last was the contrast and a lot of little tweaks on the sliders to balance out the image.

Similar process on 6 to get the black on the Team NZL car to shine.
