Urban Exploring is not for the feint hearted i've been told! You've got to dodge syringes and all sorts of broken glass etc - I'd be worried some Texas Chainsaw Leatherface guy would jump out and skewer me on a meat hook. lol. The only time I got spooked was while I was in the Big Horn Mine. I managed to make it over the steep hillside to the stamp mill, then climbed the rickety ore car tracks into the mine's entrance. I spent an hour or two exploring the many levels of the old mine, when I happened upon one tunnel that had caved in. That scared me! And, I beat a hasty retreat out of there... That was many years ago. But, funny thing is... A couple weeks ago I got an email from an old friend I hadn't heard from since the 1980's. He saw my name in the local newspaper, where they had quoted (extensively) a bio I had written about the man who discovered the gold that lead to that mine's creation. Small world. My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.
