this is shaping up to be a very nice collection of photos - it would make a fantastic photography book.

I wish... I haven't been to Disney World since 1982. I wanna go back there again!

Awesome thread! I love these type of buildings and the things you have to go through sometimes to get shots of them.

Across the street very very hidden.

love it -----^

do you guys get spooked out photographing these places? Urban Exploring is not for the feint hearted i've been told! You've got to dodge syringes and all sorts of broken glass etc - I'd be worried some Texas Chainsaw Leatherface guy would jump out and skewer me on a meat hook. lol.

The only time I got spooked was while I was in the Big Horn Mine.

IMAGE: http://www.ldphotography.net/eeHikes/images/medium/20020501_31.jpg

I managed to make it over the steep hillside to the stamp mill, then climbed the rickety ore car tracks into the mine's entrance. I spent an hour or two exploring the many levels of the old mine, when I happened upon one tunnel that had caved in. That scared me! And, I beat a hasty retreat out of there...

That was many years ago. But, funny thing is... A couple weeks ago I got an email from an old friend I hadn't heard from since the 1980's. He saw my name in the local newspaper, where they had quoted (extensively) a bio I had written about the man who discovered the gold that lead to that mine's creation.

Small world.

I would have enjoyed better light and a DSLR instead of my P and S. Taken near Llangollen, Wales.
