Thanks, that was taken last fall actually. I pass it every day going to work. Lots of old empty farms around here.

Somewhere in Lisbon..

Looked completely abandoned from the outside, but I believe it might have actually been in use, not completely sure. The surrounding addressed looked "ok" and lived in. Beautiful city though, with a great feel.

How did you like Pompeii? Such a beautiful and tragic place; I really enjoyed my day spent there. Do you have any more pictures? I would love to see them.

I liked Pompeii a lot, however, I was unlucky due to the weather conditions. Maybe, it's hard to believe, but it was bitterly cold. The temperature was around the freezing point, what is unusual in that region. On the other hand, I visited Pompeii out of the season, so there was less people. It's fascinating how many ancient discoveries are still present in our times.

I don't know how did you get there, but travelling from Naples by train I saw plenty of houses at the mountainside of the Mt. Vesuvius. People don't learn from the history.

I took a lot of photos which are being post-processed. Few of the have been already uploaded into my flick account. Others will show up soon.

Is it possible to see yours?

I don't remember it being too crowded either, I believe we were there just out of season and it was a bit rainy and cold. I have some of the pictures from Pompeii on my website.

This one is great! If only the sun would have been shining through that window at the right angle...

Which coast is in your Flickr stream with the incredible winding road after Pompeii? Lovely picture.
