It looks ancient and abandoned, but the glass is intact and clean. As are the light fittings and the rain water guttering.

Is it really abandoned?

My ambition for a good while is to grow old disgracefully. So far my wife tells me that I am doing really well!

I like the building, I like the NAME of the building, and I like everything hanging on the building!

I also like the light fixtures hanging in the windows!!

Thanks! The white curtains look to be recent. Someone in town likely owns the building and maintains it, mostly.

Those light shades are Schoolhouse style. It used to be a popular design. I suppose it got its name from use in schools.

I wondered the same thing. Despite the weathered wood and the neglected plants, there's nothing to show that the structure is unsound. The downspout seems surprisingly recent.

Blue curtains, in my view of them. If the interior is kept up, this building could be a nice little home office or studio.

The old, dilapidated, run down and abandoned Albuquerque rail yards.

The Lazy-U Motel. This old relic is directly across the street from the Tumbleweed Treasures building a page back, in Broadwater, Nebraska. The white balace isn't off, the road really is a sort of orange.

Before my trip out to the panhandle of Nebraska in 2017, I Google Car "drove" through most of the small towns to preview the photo possibilities. When I came across this block of buildings I knew I had to stop there. And I did. For 1.5 hours, walking around the tiny town. Some of which is in this gallery --> https://www.davidwattsphotography.com/Other/Totally-Solar/ (external link)
