What do you get.....

If you take one Canon camera,
A 70-200, 2.8 IS lens, (you'll need the IS)
Throw in a x 2 teleconverter (so this now gives you 400mm)
Add 3 Macro extension tubes (13mm, 21mm and a 31mm)

What do you get apart from a setup of almost 2ft in size ?

I took the below at the max focal range with all the bits added on and from 15 feet away. The image has not been cropped but only resized.

Seriously guys, it's awesome, as it gives you some much detail from that range.

No, with a 500D the maximum distance to subject is 500mm or just short of 20 inches with the lens focused at infinity. So, nowhere near 15 feet of working distance.
