Could there possibly be that much dust on sensor from brand new camera??

The good news is that your camera's fine. The bad news is that there's not a lot (short of getting a high-performance air filter) you can do about it. Jon

Jan 27, 2008 11:13 | #3 Thanks, Jon. I was hoping that was the problem. The shot was taken in our machine shop which is certainly dusty and dirty. My first clue was that the spots weren't in the same place on other shots, but I needed confirmation from the pros. Janie
