Here's one i've thought of.. Go back when they have their summer plumage on, as the winter plumage is a bit dull! :D

Thanks guys. Do you think the bird is too far away? I guess there isn't a great amount of detail.

I like the low angle, the light looks good and the colours look great...I might attempt to crop out some of that OOF foreground and also take some negative space off the right side... and yes, I think the best way to get more detail in our shots is to work on getting closer...

I think it's great. Maybe if the bird was either looking sideways or more towards the camera rather than away that would be a little better.

Yeah, i couldn't agree more. I think i had one facing more towards the camera, but the bill was blown, so i deleted it. :(
