All of the pictures of his first day were erased. It's been over two years, and I still have the card, but wonder if there is any method available where I can recover the images? Thanks for the help!

I have (shareware) PhotoRescue Advanced, which is the Rolls Royce of photo recovery programs. SanDisk bundles one with their Extreme III cards. Wow, you still have the card and haven't used it since? Good thinking to hold on to it, I probably would have thrown the thing until it broke and smashed my forehead into the pieces repeatedly. Derek

And my dad just used it to recover his vacation photos from a corrupted CF. So long as you haven't filled up your card completely since then, you should be able to get at least some of them!
