Shot my friend's M3 today. Tried something new. All straight out of the camera (no photoshop). Hope you all like them. C&C welcome. Thanks for looking.

Some nice shots there.
Sorry, but IMAGE POSTING RULES only allow 8 embedded pics by the OP per thread, so I removed the IMG tags from the last ones. You can always just post a link to them, though.

These are some wonderful shots, you've done a great job of lighting the car.#'s 1,3 and 7 are the very best of the bunch imho. Shots like these are pretty much just what I aspire to be able to do one day. Would you mind sharing with us some of the strobist info? What lights were used, location of the lights etc.

That being said, looking at #2 there seems to be some flare below and to the right of the wheel which is a little bit distracting.

Oops, should have read the rules before I posted. Thanks for the welcome!

Thanks for the feedback. Didn't notice that flare until you pointed it out. Guess a little cloning should fix that.

Most pics taken with 2 - Canon 580 EX II's. One camera left and one camera right set on half to full power set about 3-6 feet back from the car at a 45 degree angle.

This was really just an experiment since it's the first time I've ever used strobes to shoot a car. Guess I got lucky.

Good shots for first time using flashes, in most of the shots though it looks like the lighting is un-even. Keep at it though, shows great potential!
