So on Friday night there was a rival game, and I was on the opposite side from my school. Being a noob with the 580EX II and gym lighting, I tried a couple of bounce options, floor, roof, etc. It was this shot:
![]() | HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO |
1/800 f/1,8 ISO 1600 50mm (580EX on ETTL, bounced towards the roof)
when the cheerleader in the front, the rightmost wearing the red "Senior" shirt
![]() | HTTP response: 404 | MIME changed to 'text/html' | Byte size: ZERO |
1/80 f/4,5 ISO 1600 28mm (no flash)
complained that I triggered the flash right on her face. she was about 4 rows above me, and then as i left to shoot on the corner she complained yet again to a big, burly man who was there to keep the peace should anything get out of hand. i quickly apologised, even though i had done nothing but my job.
gotta love people like that.

. The only reason why i mentioned professionalism is because you posed her image and pointed her out; I am guessing not with the intention to make her look better or critique of the photo. Not usually the nicest/most appropriate thing to do IMO
