I have a brandnew Sigma 2x teleconverter and I have used once or twice on a Sigma 50-500mm lens. When I have the lens at full extension I see little black, fuzzy dots. I take off the lens and the and the converter to look and nothing is scratched and it is all clean. I has been very smokey here due to intense wildfire, so I am hoping that is the reason for the dots. Has anyone else came accross this issue. I am hoping I did not get a defective converter.
