I'm off to Thailand in a week, not sure what I'll be doing this time around Bangkok for a couple of days, but have booked a night in Phuket and 2 nights on Phi Phi. (went Krabi and then Phi Phi last time).

These are from 6-7 months ago, file numbers from the first time I was using the 1DIII, so less than 1000 shots taken. Bit of a gamle with high ISOs, as I didn't have the time to fully test the noise quality, but after seeing these I was impressed enough.

Series all shot with 1D III and new 24-105L F4 - impressed also with the quality when wide open/near

After taking a boat trip around the canal/river to the Damnoen Saduak floating market, on this James Bond boat

Took a short van ride to the cobra show.

Watermarks are from when I was travelling - had quite a lot of image theft just before leaving so decided to watermark everything I shot whilst on my 2 week trip through Thailand and Cambodia. (Since stopped doing it, due to requests from POTN members ;))

Cheers Matt - was a different experience out there. Especially sitting front row. Shame we don't get snakes in NZ

Thanks David. Just trying to think of an activity to do on my way back, whilst I'm not at Phuket/Phi Phi.
6 days to go :D
