I own a 10d and love it, considering a 40d so should I wait after PMA to buy. how long before a replacement is rumored for the 40d? if more than year away I might go for it.

It's definitely going to be more than a years wait. I'd say at least a year and a half to 2 years. Just go for it now. Stephen L.

I'd give it another 6 months before the rumours start and then a release just before xmas.. However its a good camera so go for it. may i ask what "issues" are you speaking of?

It depends what budget you have put aside for this. The 10D is old technology now and there has been some significant improvements since it's release. The 40D is a nice affordable ungrade for this camera, as for a replacement, thats still 12 - 15 months away, if not longer. Canon EOS 1D Mkiin & 20D + Lenses

He tried to get me to by Nikon but the 200 has not got the features that the 40D has and the 300 is more expensive. 5DII GRIPPED - 17-40L
