Was reading the paper on sunday and noticed what I thought was snow, upon close look i noticed it was feathers raining down on my truck. I glanced up to see this hawk feeding on a pigeon. Hawk was just going to town on it, ripped feathers off like crazy and keeping a watchfull eye on someone walking there dog.

Now I know the pic is somewhat out of focus. Was hard to get a fast enough exposure at 400mm on this crappy day.

I once had a hawk drop a bloody pigeon on the hood of my truck. At least all you got were feathers..
