I saw some wooly horses on my way home tonight :)
I am going to pack Daisy up and take her with me next week and hope they are down in the lower field again :D

Really? he looks way reddish on my screen. Does he look the same color as Jinx to you? She looks black on my screen, much darker than Peeps.

Now that I look again, he does have a good, overall reddish look. Still mostly black, but I do see the red in him now.

can I just delete the whole windows\fonts folder?

I wouldn't advise doing that. I'm not sure what else to suggest that you haven't already tried, but deleting all of your fonts could cause a lot of other problems.

At least you didn't call your wife by the same name as your ex ..

I have done that precisely once (never again :o )

Interestingly it was during one of the very few occasions when we were having a bit of an argument.

:lol::lol::lol:

I *SO* know what you mean!!!!!!!!

Right - spent enough time catching up on here while I should have been writing a website - got to get back to that for a while now.

Laters, all.

Hello Fellow POTN'ers :D

A little sleep in for me today, nice....:)

I really need to get some work related stuff done today, after losing a bunch of yesterday to court. I think it will take me a few hours to get my office messed up to where I can work, after the thorough cleaning Lisa gave it. It is real cold today, -32C (-26F), but to show you how weird our weather is on the leeward side of the Rockies, it is to be +2C (36F) tomorrow. I plan to get out and do something then. The zoo, a park, whatever, just get out. :)

I never did call my wife by another's name fortunately, but what I did do a couple times was get her birthday wrong, confusing the day with my oldest daughters mother. I finally used the association of which one I was with first, as that one was the one 2 days older. I mean, don't July 15 and July 17 seem the same to everyone. ;)

GMAE all brief fly-by.

Curt and I clean together and still can't find our stuff afterward. Good thing is we only have ourselves to blame this way. ;-)a

Curt use to joke when we first were married saying "Well at least she hasn't called me "Chuck". (my ex's name) To which my reply was "Yeah, got to work on not calling you all those other names, though." ;-)a

You may remember awhile back I told you CTPYTP wanted to use our pictures for their home page. It is running now, this is where we are shooting today. LINK (external link)

Hope you all have a good day.

Book recommendation from Curt, who seldom reads and never comments.

"The Moment it Clicks" by Joe McNally", Curt says quite possibly the best book on photography ever written. He is about 1/2 way through, I haven't started it, didn't know he got it until last night when he was telling me about it. :D

So, not to make light of wanda's situation but today Eli came home with a great report card and great chart for the week. Teacher made a fuss over him and was so proud etc. I *SO* feel like sending her a note on Monday sayign something to the effect of:

"I guess the beatings paid off"

LOLOL

ROFL - but congrats on the good reports! :)

I turned off my external drives so they won't get compromised, all my photos are on them. Whenever I run system scans they go for DAYS and find a whole bunch of stuff and supposedly clean it but my machine is so painfully slow.

Can you clean a few folders on a drive at a time? that might speed up your system enough to get the rest of it clean

They are so busted. THIS (external link) is my image with their copyright on it. I am sure it is a clerical error because they gave me credit for most my stuff. I have found a couple errors on the page so now I need to look at all the images and check. I recognized the image even though it is cropped and checked the exif. It has the serial number for my camera in the exif.

I'm watching a show called "Exploding Las Vegas" that I DVR'ed from the National Geographic channel a few days ago. Lots of Vegas history, and a ton of fire and explosions... I'll bet Zane would love it. This is one show I may end up saving for a while on the DVR so I can watch it again. ;)
