Don't it will make you gag or worse yet be the next one on the WWW throwing his PC or beating it with a sledge hammer. My current client uses Lotus Notes. I totally hate it. It's counter to everything I like about Outlook. Thankfully, I don't have to use it much.

I don't feel the mirror as much in this one. Feels rock solid, very nice. Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler - Albert Einstein

I occasionally make the mistake of hitting F5 to refresh and log myself out. PITA.. Everything should be made as simple as possible, but not simpler - Albert Einstein

PITA when I'm working on a spread sheet and the dang thing interrupts and pulls me out of the window I was working in. Especially bad if I'm in the middle of a cut/copy and paste. I hate reading the email in the preview window, and then having to double click on it to get it to know I've actually read the email.

I wouldn't let that piece of s#!+ software reside on a hard drive I personally own. Are we talking about the same thing, here? T.D. wrote in post #4969350 You said you'd used it for years at work and then said you wouldn't use it yourself. I didn't get why. Now I get it, "It's a piece of s#!+ software." With no viable alternative. I get it. Now you've got it. Outlook's all that will sync with my Pocket PCs (that I've found), but I only use it for calendar really. OE does mail so much better than anything else I've found (including the Mozillas) for rule handling and coping with server restores. Miniflash wrote in post #4970662 hi fellas Hi back atcha! Jon

My desktop is having major issues. Yesterday, right upon completing the download of a huge email, and even before it showed in my inbox, Outlook froze. I am unable to get in to it now, it says something about the .pst file not loading right. I tried doing a system restore to the night before to no avail. If the issue is to do with the email that was downloading I don't understand, because I never got a chance to open it at all. Besides, when I look online, I see my architect was emailing me prints at the time, though it was only a 1.3M file, I think I am going to leave it shut down and take it in to be looked at. I am way to busy to mess with it, and don't want to screw things up worse. I sure how I don't lose everything in Outlook. I am not sure the .pst file is backed up or not. I do have all the contacts, schedule stuff, and tasks synced to my phone, so only email is really affected. I can go back a few weeks to all my accounts online though. Lots of fun, eh? ![]() Tried the Inbox Repair Tool Jon
