I really want to get one that I can use and keep in my car Deb. I have a friend having a baby soon and some kid portraits as well as client at work portraits to do. But thanks for the offer!

Most of my stuff will be natural light but I will put my flash on a bracket and bounce it I think.

You might want to look at this (external link). I wouldn't use it outdoors in windy conditions without a couple of guy lines, but it's fast & easy to set up indoors. Single stand and crumple-proof (sorta) velour.

I have to sit dopwn with my parents committee and see what they want for a backdrop in terms of color, I was going to show them solid color muslins and maybe 2 choices in terms of the "traditional" muted colors type backgroupnds.

those are cool Jon but seem limiting in terms of varying colors and such. I like the idea of being able to put up black when I need it then changing to a blue or brown.

I read this at first and thought, "Crissa's parents have a committee? Wow, that's organized. My folks don't have a committee. Weird."

I think I need to get some sleep.

This is something Curt has on his wish list, not sure if it will fit your needs or not, just another option for you to see.

You can buy the backgrounds separately; there are at least 10-12 colours, and most are plain on one side and scumbled lightly on the other for a more "textured" effect.
