That is cool Becky, less expensive but you still need a reflector or light stand to hold it in place. I guess you could probably prop it against a wall and use general purpose clamps from home depot.

You might want to look at this. I wouldn't use it outdoors in windy conditions without a couple of guy lines, but it's fast & easy to set up indoors. Single stand and crumple-proof (sorta) velour.

You can buy the backgrounds separately; there are at least 10-12 colours, and most are plain on one side and scumbled lightly on the other for a more "textured" effect.

I heard that Jim, we just replaced our washer and dryer two months ago and now the tv just went out. I'd rather spend some money on photography equipment, my wife won't let me.

I tried to convise Lisa that washboards were the thing again these days, she wouldn't bite. Told me I'd have to wash my own clothes....I caved...:p


Sounds like Outdoor Photographer is liked by many, I will get that one for sure, and think about another. I might go look at them all at Chapters and see. Thank you all for your input.

Hi gang. We took about 1600+ shots...I think we'll have enough good ones but we made some mistakes. I hate mistakes. At least it's over. Now I just have to magically process them into perfection

that was just the sun...it just was shining like that btw. them so I thought I'd risk flare and take the shot.
