Looking forward to seeing some shots upon your guys return. :)

What a cutey, he looks just like you. ;)
Wait, I don't think I even know what you look like, where's the grandma and grandson together photos. :)

Or, the tat shots we were going to get, or did I miss them? ;)

I posted one grandma and grandson shot long ago. Don't know where it is now.
You've seen pics of me before. This is the last one I took http://farm1.static.flickr.com/193/504034471_803eea3eb6.jpg (external link)

I did get my camera back a couple weeks ago so I will post the second tat shot sometime soon. I think I can convince someone to shoot it.

Geez, I go help the kid with her school project and y'all start talking photography.

Lisa, I really love the photos. You did good. :D Dan too. :)

Deb, very cute coat for Mini. It made me chuckle, heheh.

(I feel like I'm forgetting to comment on something ... can't remember it... school projects make me brain dead...)

Lisa/Dan-- Wonderful shots!

Deb, Min seems to be giving you "the look" in that last shot! She's adorable. :)

Hello again. :D

The good thing is that she is 7 now and doesn't catch much of anything any more. For a while there I was practically living at RediMed and Walgreens.

I can't wait for the day where Evan rarely gets ill. He practically takes antibiotics every month for something :|.

Becky N wrote in post #4979370 (external link)
Never fun, hopefully the antibiotics will kick in quickly and he will at least feel better in a day or two.

He woke from his 6 hour nap just a bit ago, was real excited and said "My throat does not hurt anymore!!" He's only had one dose of the antibiotic, but has jumped to a 102 fever.

American Photo ~don't like this one
Outdoor Photographer ~get this every month, a favorite
PC Photo ~read once in a blue moon
Popular Photography and Imaging ~get this in a subscription, a favorite
Photo Life ~never heard of this one
Shutterbug. ~ only read at the news stands

My reply in red above...My Pop Photo subscription is about to expire and I am debating on getting it again. The OP subscription is free from my Aunt...she gets about 10 different magazines for her business so customers can read in the waiting room and she gives me all the OP mags before anyone can read them.

My opinions in red, I must say that there is not a photo mag on the market that comes close to my very favoritist, Petersons Photographic

I miss this one too. I still have about 4 years worth from the subscription I had with Petersons....can't bring myself to throw them out.

Permagrin wrote in post #4980197 (external link)
okay...I just thought I'd show you a couple that I liked that didn't require too much processing (just cuz I'm tired and don't want to process) I think I'll faint if you hate them...so be gentle....

Great shots Permie....they'll love them no need to think otherwise.;)

Many smilies were laid to rest to make this post possible...a moment of silence.

All I've shot is the fire's reflection in my guitar and a couple purposefully overexposed shots of a metal sculpture I liked the lines of.
I may go out tomorrow.

:) that was just the sun...it just was shining like that btw. them so I thought I'd risk flare and take the shot.

I have tried many times to capture that exact flare/star/whatever. I have yet to succeed

It's not possible on the coast. You have to actually see the sun to get it.

No- we have nothing blooming except the pansies that have been present all winter. No spring flowers yet. Maybe they didn't have enough winter. Actually, we have had no winter.

Of all of these, Outdoor Photographer is the only one I subscribe to. I used to subscribe to Popular Photography before their content became reptitous and they became a shill for Sony and Nikon.

Did you happen to see in the March 2008 issue of Outdoor Photographer the story "Live View - Hype or Benefit?". That writer really thinks/hopes that digital SLRs go the route of digital P&S and the Olympus Evolt E-330 where all cameras have a tilt and swivel LCD screen on the back. I wanted to vomit after reading that article. Then there was that story "My Convenience" that centered on the Apple iPhone for the technology story for this issue that can be used as a camera on an outing to photograph bristlecone pines.:|
