Well put Zane. I've never looked at it that way before. I'm in the 'don't hunt for sport' category, so this was good for me... made me look at the other side. ;)

Thanks Kit and don't get me wrong I understand the sentiment and would much rather hunt with a camera these days.I never did hunt to put anything on the wall it was always for the table. I often see things I see as nonsense generated by societies loss of reality. Permie felt bad about what she saw and I felt she shouldn't but should be thrilled with the wonder of it all. I mean I agree, poor goose, but the fact he did or didn't get eaten doesn't make him any better off.

he got the cold that I had all of last week. Sore throat, stuffy head, fever...I think he's pretty happy about being a gramps...

Awwwwwww, poor Puddles :( I hope he gets better soon.

And hubby was excited to be a grampy, not so excited that his little girl was able to make him one, if you know what I mean :)

Kody, I would definitely go look at this house that was in your search for $4k more...more square footage and great looking house to boot. LINKY (external link)

A house like that would easily sell for $450,000 - $500,000 down here...

Hello.

Went to dinner and a concert, the group with the little bus I linked you to the other day. They did a tribute to Dan Folgelberg, all proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. Our choir director is part of the group and as soon as she sang one of her songs I wanted to run home and put up a You Tube link.:-( I'm sure Cat and Zane like it...Run for the Roses.

I'd like to see that too. I'm a Fogelberg fan...

PERMIE and DAN congratulations, you will love being Gams, late September eh? I happen to know from experience the 27th is a good birthday date. Just as CJ. ;-)a

^^^What she said...

Arabs are beautiful. I had a dream when I was a youngin that I was going to start an Arabian ranch. I had the plans all drawn up and everything. I still have them.

Thats neat:D They are pretty but tend to be too smart and a bit uppity. They are often used as endurance horses. They are small framed high headed guys and can go forever.

Permagrin wrote in post #4834225 (external link)
that horse has beautiful lines.

I forgot what it won but it is a good example.

:) with me it was paints, and wild mustangs...my grandmother was a full blood Cherokee...

Neat Lisa I did not know that very cool. I know little of native American heritage as far as who lived where and how people were distributed throughout the land but from my trips to Tennessee I know there is still a lot of Cherokee and Cherokee land down there. I am not overly supportive of some groups demands for certain rights but I always felt if the Native Americans got together and killed off the rest of us that would be only just.

Nice shots, Zane. Besides the dish face the Arabs have a unique stature too.

They are bred with high tails and I need to do a search but I tend to think they my be broken or something terrible at birth to make them higher.
