These are unprocessed.... but the Bittern is slinging this frog around apparently to take the fight out of it...

Here's a shot of the frog right before it goes down.... (the only one processed so far..)

Yeah we pretty well took this in the dark...

I've decided to start cheering for the mice and frogs. Do any of you long lens folks have photo's of those sharp beaked meanies missing, or tripping and falling as the frog hops away? Any photo's posted would be appreciated.

We'll have to dig them out, but there are plenty of shots of the eagle diving down and the duck plunging under the water in the nick of time....

Yeah we pretty well took this in the dark...

Stopped in the middle of a bridge... no biggie though we hadn't seen another vehicle of any kind in over an hour by that point....

Nice to somebody got away. From all the photo's here though, it looks like frogs and voles are just about toast whenever a hungry heron happens by.
