I've been trying to play with DOF with my 50mm.... I'm not pleased with the exposure but I was apparently overly focused on DOF... :p

I was up on the high desert this afternoon, and I stopped in at the George Patton museum. I had a little chat with the old man himself, and he agreed to let me snap a picture or two.

He doesn't respond to questions, and his expression never changes. He doesn't look anything like George C. Scott, either.

I could have kicked myself the other day...I was in Demming and there was some beautiful landscapes but I DID NOT want to keep changing off my lenses so I opted for the G9. The light was so poor and I didn't realize it was on auto iso...so my landscapes are horridly noisy. But this was such a cool shot (if you can imagine it done properly) I thought I'd show you anyway
