BTW, that was taken indoors under incandescent light at ISO 3200. There's a lot of color correction in that one.

I was up on the high desert this afternoon, and I stopped in at the George Patton museum. I had a little chat with the old man himself, and he agreed to let me snap a picture or two.

He doesn't respond to questions, and his expression never changes. He doesn't look anything like George C. Scott, either.

I bet you would get a few words from him if you told him that Monty was the best General in all of WWII.

Nice shot though.

It needs a few more lights and gauges, but it looks almost right.

Jennifer, what are those panels of?

I like 'em Jennifer.

Thanks Lisa! :)

Scott - Those are shots of the pump panel on a fire truck. I took my boys to visit the fire department (that I grew up at...) today. My dad has been a volunteer there for almost 30 years... I was a member there for 5 years... and I spent countless hours climbing trucks... LOL

So I figured the boys would be entertained by the trucks and stuff... so I entertained my self with my camera... Ok so I played on the new truck for a while too....

Not my best work, but here's the truck I was shooting... It was in the dark bays when I took the earlier shots...

you have nice hair color...I wouldn't have it done if mine weren't completely grey.

I am getting a bit grey but haven't decided if I ought to go 'au natural' or bite the L'Oreal bullet;)

Life is hard...but I just take it one photograph at a time.

Yeah the simple explanation would be fire truck... but ask Wooly-Dan.. I'm not one for simple explanations!

The Ambush

I know others have said it, but I like the shot, Chief. and the one of Patton. He was one of my heros.

Jennifer, I enjoyed the fire truck shots, too! That must've been fun getting a chance to photograph those!

Moo, All!

Moo, All!

Thanks Dan! :) I enjoy all things fire and fire trucks... have most of my life! I only left the fire service when I was 7 months pregnant with the young man standing in front of the fire truck! So it was a worthy sacrifice!

The best part is I know the door code to get into the station and go down there and smell the smells and shoot the sites any time I want!!!!!
