I witnessed a residential burglary and forgot to grab my camera to take a picture of the vehicle. Unnerved by the thieves seeing me I get the boys dressed in a hurry to get to the store where hubby is. In this process I forget to put on my bra! Probably TMI on the latter ..lol.

Renee

That's not a good way to start the morning.

Just got an email from Mack Cam. The 30D is in their shipping department to be returned to me! Yippee!!

And the Bigma should be on its way home as well.

Congrats, TD. You'll be back and creating craptacular images at 500mm in no time now.

I've got kids duty this morning. Wife is going to Sydney for the day to a Day Spa.

The proper use of day spas and/or manicures/pedicures go along way towards photographic freedom. ;)

Which should be soon!

Yea. I wouldn't be surprised if mine ships out by the end of the week.

it's funny, we all live about 30mi. staggered and we have the craziest differences in weather. My mom said they barely got any snow...we've been having it for days. It's never really melted all the way gone before it snows again.

My friend who lives in the West Salem Hills often gets significantly different weather than I do over here in NE. She's up quite a bit higher, but I've actually had more snow than her this year.

usually you guys get the snow and we don't. In fact in 8 years, we've had it really stick once until this year. Mom will call and say "we've got snow" and here there's nothing...it's been very strange this year.

Yes it has been odd. Normally I am jumping up and down for snow. But today, I was hoping for no snow. I am planning a trip to Mt. Bachelor tomorrow through Saturday, and it was dependent on Barlow having class today. So it looks like things are going through the way I planned, for once. That said, it could be a slow trip over the pass tomorrow.

Our kids' school district covers a large geographic area, and ranges from just above sea level to more than 500 feet above sea level. We've had snow closures on days where parts of the district had no snow on the ground at all. A couple of years ago, my wife left our old house where there was nearly a foot of snow on the ground. She arrived at her office, three miles to the north, to find barely a trace.

The Oregon Trail School district goes all the way up to Mount Hood. So it could be 45F and sunny down at one end of the district but 30F and snowing up there and they will have to stop classes :-D

I don't mean to interject anything irrelevant here, but to help me understand the discussion, just what exactly is 'snow?':p:p:p:p:p

All you need to know: If you ever see it and it is yellow - don't eat it! It isn't a lemon flavored snow cone!
