The speed limit on I-10 is 70mph through the desert here. That equates to 80+ mph for most people inluding yours truly. There was an article in the paper recently that the Highway Patrol was going to start cracking down, but I've seen no signs of it yet. Still, it's only a matter of time, then 'bye bye' safe driver discount.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

The MU benefits plan does not cover speeding tickets.

I don't consider 5 over speeding... (and all the cops I have talked to confirm that)

Plus, I had my friends at the Sandy PD radar me once - my speedometer is off by 2MPH, so if I go 5 over, I am really only 3MPH over...

There are lots of times on I-95 where the posted limit is 65 and if you tried to run that, you would cause an accident....the flow of traffic is often 80-85 and the people being ticketed are those not going fast enough...

Sometimes you just have to go with the flow... 80-85 is a bit fast for me... 75 is about the maximum I can handle for extended periods of time.
