Sometimes you just have to go with the flow... 80-85 is a bit fast for me... 75 is about the maximum I can handle for extended periods of time.

FYI, speed limit on highways is 75mph in Switzerland, 80mph in France, and there is no limit in Germany, Therefore, traffic permitting, you drive mostly at about 110mph and up to 125mph for short amounts of time (for me as I wouldn't feel confortable driving that fast for an extended period of time with the kind of cars I usually drive) And no, there isn't any more accident in Germany than anywhere else. It may in fact be the opposite. You ca stay focused on the road if you don't have to check your speed. Cuise control is useless when there is heavy traffic...

:lol: me too...it was either that or I was worried he was going to become a daytime tv addict. It was looking like Tina Turner might lose her exalted position to Rachel Ray

seriously though, I DO hope he has a good day and likes this job.

 Don't let TD hear you say that. I do believe that might well be considered heresy.

Hey David - it looks like you are bringing typical Seattle weather down to Portland when you come... Friday looks nice, but Sat/Sun look wet!

In the Corolla -- must have been downhill with a tailwind. :p

Eastern Washington and Central California have been my fast spots. Driving some very capable cars on some very empty roads during daylight hours I've gone more than fast enough to get into a lot of trouble. ;) I will say that 60 seems awfully slow when you've doubled it.

During a recent vacation where we drove through CA, I had the cruise control in our van set at 85, and was parked in the right hand lane having people regularly blow by me.

Hadn't checked recently. The last I'd looked, things were looking decent all around. Oh well, I haven't melted in the rain yet, sugary sweet guy that I am and all that.

We've heard that song before. And every time you've come back and blown our eyes out with your work. Or is this some kind of reverse psychology you're using on us?
