to be a meany head I'll mention it is a comfortable 17C here right now with a top of 27C expected. Only a few scattered clouds on the horizon.:p

No... Don't forget there's more light in light. Dark is merely the absense of light, so lighter images must have more light in them, therefore the RAW files will have more data.
