My 4gb cards are lighting fast but yesterday I used the 8gb card and was shocked at how slow it was to write. They are two different brands (all my cf cards except the 8gb are silicon power which I absolutely love and the 8gb is transcend 133x). .. It's Permie's world, we just live in it! ~CDS
