First shot after work at my city hall. Not as fun to use as my dslr's but much easier to carry.

I had a tough time confirming focus, so I had to unmute the sound so I can hear a chirp as focus is attained. If I half press the shutter and recompose, the AF does not refocus? Correct?

It's called Focus lock. It does Exposure lock also using the same method.
