Neither of those are Bigmas. They're also missing the EX designation. But, if they're real the 150-500 might be worth a look if its optics are decent.

if they're real

I can't find any other info about them.

The attachment was from a scan of Sigma's 2008 catologue from a poster on birdforum.

I downloaded the current catalog (Oct 2007) from Sigma Japan and neither lens is listed in it.

I truly hope this is true, the Bigma OS will become SIGMA's fastest selling lens in the Over $500.00 price range, IF they price it right.

Keep dreaming. Sigma would never do something that smart.

I don't know, Canon built me my wish list camera in the 1D MarkIII,.. literally feels like it was "built to spec" just for me,.

I'm beginning to believe in miracles!
So if Canon designers are reading my wish lists, who's to say SIGMA will not follow suit :)

Sigma's new lenses...Bravo!

Well, Sigma announced a great bunch of lenses, in my opinion. 150-500 OS HSM... 120-400 OS HSM... Sweet. Hope both perform like the other quality Sigma telephotos. Great news, and they look like sweet lenses.

Also, the 18-125 OS. I owned the original 18-125 for 2 years, and it was a great lens...just not fast enough. Adding OS should make for a fantastic lens at a decent price. Could I be adding the 18-125 back to my arsenal? :)

Go Sigma...quality releases.

That's an impressive list of new lenses.

I only wish that Canon wouldnt be so darn conservative with lens releases.

Lately the competition is running over Canon's head.

Hmm... the 18-125 OS sounds pretty good. Anyone know the difference between this lens and the 18-200 OS? (other than the obvious focal length difference)
