Fantastic contest, everybody, and very difficult to judge. However, with great thought and care, my choices are:

1. Robuk’s Road bridge at Dolwyddelan in North Wales. This is simply a gorgeous image. It is old-time, current, and breathtaking. It could be a book cover or a fine art print. The foreground and subject are so crisp, while the far distance has a Monet-like impressionistic quality----awesome touch! This is one of the finest images I’ve seen entered in these weekly contests. Wonderful image.

Congrats, Robuk-----You pick the next challenge!!

2. Chandler’s Passage to Alpental: Another gorgeous image. Fantastic, well-planned composition here. This reminds me of a Currier & Ives print, or a stereoscopic-type picture from the early years of photography. It could be taken today or 100 years ago. Well done, Chandler!

3. Flo’s Untitled: I loved this image from the moment I saw it. It has a “Wow” effect. I’ve studied it, and it remains an awesome photo. The lines and patterns, and the man walking, with his head angle matching the angle of the railings, adds such intrigue. And the way the leading lines point to the subject……way to go, Gail!

Honorable Mention goes to Miniflash’s Untitled. This picture is just so pretty, and has such a peaceful feeling. I absolutely love the way the fog is surrounding the bridge abutments. And the setting sun adds a sleepy comfort to it all. Great shot, Deb.

Thanks to all, for such a great contest. I had a great time over the last week!

Yeah, nice contest everyone. My favorite was Chandler's (other than mine :)) Actually, his was better than mine. I like the snow and how the bridge is the obvious main subject. Just the overall look of the scene and choice of bridge. Congratulations to the winners.
