Seriously, please, stop calling the 1DMKIII "the Mark III". It's wrong...you can't abbreviate like that, as it's (obviously) ambiguous. Pick something better, please.

(of cos 1DSmark3 instead of 5D would be even better bar the price issue)

We shoot weddings with 1 5D and two 40D's. This allows us to get wide ends and long. Also both 40's were bought from best buy with there no question asked return policy for up to 2 years. So if something happens I get a new camera. In 2 years ill be done with the 40D and moved one. This set up works amazing and get wonderful results This sounds like the perfect combo IMHO.
