Lorikeet and a Mynah on my balcony....

I took these on Monday evening. We have a lot of birds visiting us on our balcony, including Magpies, Lorikeets, Rosella's, Gallah's to name just a few. We feed them so they hang around, so I managed to get these shots.

Beautiful birds you have over there. Tell me what that last one is? It's really a cool shot with the look on that birds face as it checks out the bowl....I want one! steve

Hi Ken and Steve,

The first 2 birds are the Rainbow Lorikeets, and the 3rd one is a noisy Mynah (Miner) bird, not native to Australia. There are several types of these Mynah's, but I'm not exactly sure which is this variety, but more than likely an Indian Mynah.

Lovely Lorikeets.. You lucky Aussies have some of the most beautiful and animated birds on the planet. I couldn't believe it when I saw Cockatoos flying in the wild!
