I purchased a canona570 at a best buy open box sale. Keep in mind that I'm a complete pixel challenged dumb a##. Took the some pictures in the apt, but was not verry impressed, the flash seemed to wash everthing out. Have'nt got to the manual control section yet. So, decided to take the some pics outside today. One of some moss, and the other the chip in my window, the results seemed a lttle better. I'm sure the results will get better as I finish the manual.

A built-in flash will ruin the photo on most cameras IME. Once you learn how to control ISO, shutter and aperture, you'll often be able to avoid the flash, and improve your pictures.

I like the window crack. It looks like an amoeba.
