Beached 3 week old Seal pup

[SIZE=3]The seal pup was found at the high water mark by a friend of mine walking his dog early tuesday morning, and after some gentle persuasion we managed to get the seal back to the water 300yds away :D........... Pictures made the news on TV and Regional papers........

Was he sick? It looks like there is stuff coming out of his nose. Nice pictures by the way. :)

Hi Alex

I just think he was "dried out" as he/she had been out of the water about 4 to 5 hours when I took the shots, and he/she swam away quite happily after it got back to the water....

Poor little guy. Glad to see he made it back to the water! Number 2 is probably my favorite shot.
