Here is some shots of my Turbo 350z for a photoshoot for West Covina Nissan. I am totally new to photography but I will soon be taking lessons and reading up on anything I can related to DLSR. I am getting a feel for the angles but now I need help in settings. Comments and suggestions please. The pics were taken with a rebel XTI. The colors do seem washed out for some reason but it had more to do with my photo software more so than the camera. I have browsed around the site and the pictures I see are simply amazing and hopefully someday will get that good........Help me out guys.

I like the under hood shot best. What was the WB set to for the others. They seam to have a pinkish tone to them? Might want to go custom with the lighting it that shop. The vehicle in the back of the first shot is a little distracting. Good stuff on the whole. Keep at it.

Thanks for the comments and yes that is a Skyline R32 in the background. My Z makes about 450 Crank HP which would put it about 370 to 380 WHP depending on the dyno. Since I posted this I have actually taken my camera everywhere with me and taking shots after shot to better familarize myself with the settings. I refuse to use auto and will force myself to play with everything I can in Manual mode. I have also one question since my car will be featured in HIN ( hot import night ) the lighting is very bad but what would be a good rule of thumb for pics besides a tripod. I will be taking shots all night long but my concern is blurry shots so if anyone can help a noob please let me know.

Welcome to POTN!

If you set Image Editing to OK in your profile, I can show you my take on your pics with a little enhancement to make them "pop".
