POTN Strap : How much weight?

The Canon straps are much much less comfortable then the POTN straps to my neck

It is comfortable and strong. If it's not long enough for you, then 2 out 3 isn't bad.

Which means about 45 real life. Typical procedure with rating is divide by three for safety factor.
Of course this is not exactly rated life safety equipment, but I still would bet if they advertise a 15 lb rating based on a real world test, then the breaking point in that test was closer to 45 than to 15 pounds.

Also, Optech describes those numbers as "Recommended Load: Load is the amount of weight that can be comfortably carried on the strap"
So they are not even talking about a breaking point,. which may then be waaaay higher than 15

I got the extenders for mine.

I think I'd feel safe maxing it out at about 20lbs since it'll be bouncing around a bit, thus increasing the force several fold.
