Took a panorama shot of the Sun Run yesterday. Click thumbnail for a higher resolution (original is more than 12.000 pixels wide).

^^^^nice. how do you do a panorama of a dynamic subject such as that where ppl are constantly moving?

Well, these are my first ( real ) candid shots. I guess it would come down to feeling nervous shooting strangers, but after seeing so many good shots in here I never realized how awesome it can be. I live in chilliwack so I don't get out there much. Anyways, pics Taken at White Rock in March/10. I hope I did ok.

Make it quick. I did it without a tripod, even.

Just make sure to check over your merged layers in Photoshop. PS does a great job automatically, though.

Hello there,

Sadly I don't have anything to add to this amazing collection.... yet.

I'm actually heading over to vancouver in a month or so and was wondering what the sights and must see attractions are?

any suggestions/help is greatly appreciated!

Since there has been no posts I will contribute my thoughts. As for downtown walking, the streets I like are Granville ST for funky stores and people watching, Burrard St also good for people watching and allot of tourist type stores, Beach ave for the beach of course, Granville island is well worth it and Definitely check out Gas Town for that funky old feel and the famous steam whistle.
For more of a tourist attraction type stuff ( well not really but... ) besides well know Stanley Park and the lookout at harbour centre tower, there's the bloedel conservatory , It's only 5 bucks to get in, its not huge so do a couple of laps to catch everything . The park has a great view of Vancouver , by their fountain people will do yoga and practice martial arts stuff and not to mention watching wedding after wedding ( went there last weekend really peaceful ). Capilano suspention bridge, expensive but they really put on a nice show as well, wearing old style clothes and live bands ( went there this weekend )
