Here is a shot taken in 1981 at nearly the same scene by another famous Vancouver street photographer. I noticed the similarity of the views and looked for this picture. If you look at the row of rocks beneath the trees at the shore they are the same rocks. I also carefully looked at the buildings in the "fire shot" and they line up. Frank (aka Gabrioladude)
