That's not a nice thing to see first thing in the morning..... :)

It wasn't early in the morning...it was more towards the "end" of the parade.

How about combining the two? Maybe some shots of Benji free styling on the streets of Vancouver. That would be cool. :)

Hah thanks guys. I'm sure Benj will be cruising around in his sling with me while I shoot before too long. That will be a good distraction for my subjects, too; who could get mad at a guy holding a baby??

This is a Japanese style hotdog stand some where in DT, I can't remember where but it is very good.

Cool shots! I like the second... that is Japadog, the stand is on Burrard, on the same side of the street as IGA, and one block up towards Hastings.

Japadog.. it's a mouthful!

I know what I'm having for lunch tomorrow. Misomayo sounds good. She looks like she's playing a trumpet...(not a euphemism)

edit: You were right Hoff, I'm going to get the 200 2.8 instead of the 70-200. Thanks for the tip!

Not that I want to use this as a sales thread but I thought I'd offer a deal to my fellow Vancouverites. I'm buying a used EOS 1N film body with grip -- $200 -- and the seller has two. I'm meeting him Friday so if anyone wants the second one, let me know. This is the top of the line EOS pro series body from '94, will work with all of your current lenses, and this is 1/3 the price of the 1N with grip in Leo's display right now.

(And I'll have my old film EOS-10S for sale, cheap, if anyone wants it)

You're not selling them, you're doing a service for us.

Went by the fire in Surrey but was a little late for the big flames. I did manage to come back with a bunch of shots at high ISO's and did some quick processing in Lightroom only. These seem to suit colour..... I have more.

I say the Plumber did it in the kitchen with a torch. (grin)
