d30 lens purchase for weddings and concerts help please

Hi all, you are all so much smarter then i am when it come to this stuff. So i thank all of you in advance for all of you help.Belive it or not i have learned alot about photography just from reading all of your posts. Its great that we have such a place where we all can help one and other.

Now on to the question. I shoot alot of concerts and am goignto be shooting a wedding very soon. I have looked at the sigma 24-70 2.8 and the ever popular tamron 28-75 2.8 and a little at the canon 17-40 f4. Wich would you reccomend. And will i have any problems with any of these lenes on the d30. I love this camera and jsut cant bear to get rid of it. I dont know how many of you still have this. Well like i said all help is great. Also what is you opion of the sigma 70-200 2.8 would i need to worry about rechipping on my d30? Thanks again guy and gals. your the best.

well for the wedding your best zoom would deffinitely be a 24-70. Now which one, I'd say Canon. I really can't tell you anythink about Sigma as Tamron (that TAmron, however is being praised quite a bit, so I suppose it;s a pretty good lens)
