Bryan, I would love to have even a modicum of your talent. Your clients must be consistently pleased with the quality of the work you produce.
Might I just comment, though, on a few things that strike me as criticisms that I know many people level on a regular basis around here, sometimes warranted.
In the first shot, the trees growing out of her head are usually a no-no. I don't know why that is, but I've been jumped on for that on many an occasion.
Second shot is so nice; what a wonderful backdrop the partially frozen falls are.
The third shot is crystal clear and it's as if you can look into her eyes and to her soul. Perhaps a bit more DOF would have rendered her hand not as blurry as it is a bit distracting. Maybe a bit of burning (not that I know how to do that effectively) would help.
Fourth shot is great and conveys their feelings for one another.
Fifth shot is a nice idea, but do you by chance have it reversed? In other words, the couple in the foreground and the otherwise unattractive sign in the background blurred but still readable. IMHO, that would work better, because who would "buy" a pic of a sign?
6 is a nice shot, but it's usually better for a woman to have her legs apart a bit which is a more flattering pose. (Please don't think I'd have done it any better. I saw it in a posing book but of course never remember to do it.)
7 is great and must look so good in a large print. So hard to see any detail in such a small pic of the couple.
8 is also well done, but I'd have liked the gentleman to be wearing nicer pants. Not that it's in your control, however.
I aspire to take such nice shots one day.
