I took this the first week I got my water housing for my 40D. I can't wait until my tattoo heals up so I can swim back out again.

Negative critique on my end: a couple water spots on the left side and the splash on the far left...a little distracting.

The water spots are distracting but I think the idea is excellent. I'd consider a slightly wider focal length next time, to include more of the sky though the water. Well done though.

Is that the inside of a wave?
Really neat perspective! Really abstract-ish!

Nice capture. All you need now is a surfer to be riding the "tube".

Quick clone job. Are you standing in the water or swimming? Great shot.

That's at 10mm. You don't get any wider on a 40D.

It was about 3-5 feet that day. I'd say this one was only 3 or 4 feet. It wasn't scary but it's definitely more work than sitting on the land. Add 50 degree water into the mix and the land looks better and better.

The clone looks good but it's pretty evident it's been cloned. I just need my tattoo to heal so I can go back out again. I missed some really good surf this morning.

Oh, and I am swimming.

INDITUBE... if the tube was a real one, you'd have lots of room and not worry about the splash :p It looks like we'll see many surf pics from you INDIFUTURE. I'll have to keep checking here, have a blast!!:D
