Is it anygood? A cd came with my 300d, but it seems to be blank

Is it worth going back to the shop and asking for another cd? Or should I find something else?

If you have no other photo manipulation software, then YES, get one that works.

Yes, it's a good program and is about to get better. Owners of PSE 2.0 will be able to upgrade to 3.0 which is about to be released. I've seen pre-release upgrades being offered for approx. $50 US ($99 less a $50 rebate or something)

PSE 3.0 will have RAW support I'm told.

Here, for example. (external link)

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Call me stupid if you want, but I think PSE is better than PS SC (or something like that). PSE is complicated enough, don't know why an average joe (like me) would want the full version of PS.

PS Elements 2.0 is not bad at all. You can do almost anything with it that you would need to do. If you later find you'll want the full version of Photoshop, you can upgrade for a reduced price ($299) (external link) if you have PS Elements.

So I'd certainly go back and get a good CD, even if it was only because of the upgrade to PS CS possibility.

Little off topic, but have you tried GIMP?
It is a freeware and an excellent software having nearly all functionalities of any photo editing software

Because PS CS can do alot more, and is pretty powerful. but for the average JOE who wants to correct color and such, then elements is fine.
