So now that there is another new fix out for the 1D MkIII you have to wonder is the 1Ds also have this flaw?

It's been said the 1Ds has the same focus engine but had correct mirror boxes when it went on sale. That's all well and good but since there is ANOTHER new fix, that's potentially hardware & software it doesn't seem much of stretch to suggest that the new 1Ds is also flawed?

Not trying to stir up rumors, just trying to assess the situation.

My 1D comes back tomorrow from it's mirror fix and honestly I think it works fine. but coming from a 20D it's a million times better even though it's "broken". So far the image quality coming out of my 1D is pretty outstanding.

My 1Ds3's AF, in AI SERVO and in ONE SHOT, has been flawless. Best AF I've ever experienced. I can't say the same for my 1D3, even after the fix.

I'd love to get my hands on that flagship lol. :)

I bet it's just a beauty in action. Although I did luck out and my Mk III is just fine.

I shot some action tennis shots with my 1DsIII. I got a good keeper rate when I did my part right.
