Thinking of entering one of these two for a contest. Theme is reflexion.

It's my first attempt at macro as I don't even have a macro lens!

Obviously looking for some criticism. I've thought about removing the bottom part of the first one, but I decided against it. I like the simplicity of the first one, but I like the busyness of the second one.

I'll have to find out if there's a limit as to how many entries per artist.

I wish you could get the colors of the first one into the second one and that would be a winner for me. The second one to me though does seem too busy my eye just can't keep still on that one.

Just My Opinion

Thanks for the input!.

I can look into that, seeing how it would work with much brighter colors. Although I'm a fan of desaturated colors.

you know I think the second one would grab my eye just a bit more if that lower droplet that is out of focus wasn't there.......the big one to the left and the smaller one to the right look awesome...I think the other one is what makes me feel it is too busy......try one like that maybe?

I like the both.

I would clone out the bit of red in the lower part of the first pic - it draws my eye away from the other water drop.
