You got Slippery lens caps ? Here is a fix.

Ok my lens caps just got on my nerves. The Canon cap is smooth on the edge where you squeez it and hard to get a grip on especially with a hood in place. Here is what I did to resolve the problem. Hold the cap and use a sharp knife. Drag the knife over the edge of the cap where you squeeze it about 50 times side by side..

Then turn the cap 45 degrees and repeat the procedure. It doesn't have to be exact and will give a rough cross hatch patern to grip.

I did it to all my caps...Takes about 1 min .?!

Try it you will like it !!

I like the second shot best Jerry.. because the two cut marks in your left index finger and thumbnail are clearly visible as a result of your operation! :shock: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
