I've used the 1200mm one twice. Or played with it rather. Once at a trade show and once at Donnington race circuit where some dude was filming on an XL2 Canon camcorder at a trackday I was at with one os these strapped to the front with the EF adapter. It's huge, and predictably, a little slow on focusing. :p

From memory I'd have said the 1200mm was about 6ft long and had a front element something like 45cm across... The tripod foot is so big the Canon stand at the trade show had it mounted on one of those twin-arm video tripod heads such as you'd use for small studio video cameras.
