OK - I have been thinking for a while about getting a new lens, and possibly camera, though lens comes first, and I see HN at the moment is promising to price match (well I see it has been for a while - funny they didn't mention it last time I tried) BUT not off internet sites (BOO) so I need either TV, radio, or print in paper/mag ads... Took a printout from the AK camera website into HN, and they pricematched 10-22 from about $1600 down to $1200 I think it was. No questions asked, didn't even ring up ak camera. If you get a half decent salesperson the last thing they will do is question your integrity (unless you look completely dodge - i don't think they would have matched if the printout said $200... hehe)

I tried that down here and they wouldn't do it Didn't come down to anywhere near the price of other places I have seen, so that's why I am trying plan B

Excellent - now I have someone to blame I don't mind if the price isn't the same as AC as I figure I won't be paying any interest anyway so a little more cost is fine. Just not paying HN prices if I can help it

Hey wassuP! New kiwi photographer here, I live in Tauranga at the moment, but spend a fair bit of time in Hamilton. Im new to photography but Im really loving it, I post on the gpforums photography section quite a bit, and have been trowling this forum for some time and stumbled upon this thread. Nice to see a kiwi presence on POTN!
